He's still calling . . .

Scripture means more and more to me as the years pass. I just noticed something I'd never seen before. In Mark 10:46f when the blind man Bartimaeus catches the attention of Jesus, He has some of the people call to him, and they say, "Have courage. Rise. He Is Calling You." It "occurs" to me that He's always calling us, too: to something better, to something higher, to something miraculous, to something that will build our faith or the faith of others, to something that will minister to us or to others, to something that will be what we’ve longed for, to something that we’d never thought we’d see . . . You get the idea…
